Mesa Express 5:25 vs. Lonestar Special

I like the idea of being able to change the wattage level on these two but can't seem to make up my mind between them. I play mostly classic rock & blues so a clean sound is a must. Anyone have or played both of these. Which do you prefer.

LSS, definitely. A lot warmer, dynamic, and less stiff and sterile than the Express. The Express has a decent clean channel, but the gain tones kinda are flat and thin compared to the LSS. Then again, you're talking a significant chunk of change difference in price too.
