Man, what is it about all other amps that just can't come close to the tone of a IIC+? I had it in the classified for sale, along with my other Boogies. I haven't played it in over a year. So, plugged it into one of my Mesa Recto cabs and fired it up to mess about before packing it up.....big mistake. Jeez, the bottom end and enormous depth/range these old amps have is just phenomenal and nothing I have purchased or modded can get near the IIC+.

I stayed out in the cave mucking around for a couple hours. All the while looking over the bevi of amps and shit out there. Nothing comes near this beast.

Decisions......

Goddamn I wish I had the cash for one of those .

I have had that happen many times when I play a guitar or through an amp before shipping it off. Once you know you are going to never see the piece of gear again, it greets you with the best tone you ever heard from it.

So are you still selling the III and IV as well? I hope not, don't check out of the mesa mark series brother hood. :)

I've owned 2 IIC+'s a few III's and a IV (like you). IMHO you can dial them all in to sound pretty much identical with some small variations (especially the III and the IIC+).

Sounds like the cab is the big difference.

The C+ has this feel to it also. You have to play one to understand. They deffintely have a bit of magic to them
