Mesa Lonestar 1x12 combo - anyone own one of these?

Looking at combos for gigging again. This one looks pretty versatile but I have never played a Boogie in my life. What are you guys thoughts on the Lonestar series?

Combo sound pretty good or should I conider a head and a seperate cab?

I owned the Special 112 for a while. It's a cool amp - the clean sounds are very good, the wattage switching is nice. But there's a hair around the dirty tones that I a) didn't like and b) couldn't dial out. Built really well, but weighed a ton.

Really well built, like most Boogies, but tone wise they are overrated imho.

I think they sound great for what they cost on the used market. But you would probably be better off with the head version into a good 2x12. The cleans are really really good. The leads take some tweaking.

Andy Timmons likes them. I love the way the Lonestar sounds here, but it sounds boosted here, they don't have this much gain stock.
