Got the amp a few weeks. Love it  Still getting used to the guitar. Mostly Mark 2C+ mode, some Crunch mode, some Tweed.

Killer phrasing in your playing man. I imagine you more a Mark I type of player, as far as Boogies go but you sound great here

SEE....they're not just muddy sludge machines for 1 chord grunge hacks. :D There's lot of tones in the Mark amps, some bad and some good. Just have to tweak it.

Yeah, I really like the amp. It's a nice variation from my Marshall amps. Only mode that is hard to dial in is the Mark I. I don't know what they were thinking.
Mark IV mode is a given, sounds awesome, but I've been hanging in Mark 2C+

Thanks! Some killer flubs in there too but I can't edit them out   The Mark I mode in this amp is a bit of a bitch to dial in.

tell me about that much overlooked edge mode.

Overlooked is right   I haven't messed with it at all. Less gain then the crunch mode and too much slice. I have to have a go with the Edge mode soon. Might actually be good for AC DC type Marshall karrang. Maybe I'll try a vid of that mode soon.

For Mk I so far I dialed the bass back and crank the treb. Not sure what I did with mid but I also dialed the drive way back. I remember if you move it a little it really changes the tone. I will check tomorrow when I go downstairs and have my morning coffee.

Edge mode is awesome. I used to crank the gain and use my guitar volume to dial back for cleans. The same works for channel 1 Tweed. The way I actually used to set up mine was Ch1. Tweed with high gain for AC/DC crunch @90W, rollback volume for cleans. Ch2 Crunch @45W and Ch3 IIC+ @90W.

care to share your 2C+ and crunch settings pls?

what cab are you using?

I've got a mark 5 more than a year but somehow I can't dial it that good as you just did!
