Pros and cons. Possibly looking for an anti- Marshall as I got Marshall covered

The 5153 does a few excellent tones. The MKV does more mediocre tones. I have a MKIIC and it is much better. Maybe a MKIII or MKIV?
Lots of people like the MKV. Don't mean to slag on it. Just don't like it. Opinions, assholes, etc...

I still have my IV and I admit I've been playing the IV lately and it sounds so good.SFW":12fiq9fq said:When I was looking for a new amy last year, I looked at the Mark V and the 5153. I am a huge Mark IV fan, and have owned several of them. I ended up going with the 5153, as I felt it was easier to get the tones I wanted. I do not care for the Mark V at all. I feel that to get all the "versatility" packed into the amp, they sacrificed tone. If you want the Mark sound, look into a Mark III or IV.
