Has anyone played extensively with the master volume on the channel 3? I was using the head through my load box Boss waza tae, and when I started to get close to the 12 o’clock position, maybe by 10 or 11, it’s like all the crunch from the gain went away. Is there a max I should be running at? Seems like it should start driving the power tubes and getting more saturation/crunch if you will. Just wondering what other people’s experiences were like.

The master at 10:00 on most any amp is heavy hitting Drummer loud.. Over that, everything is collapsing, saturating and overdriving FTMP.

My Deliverance with 4-KT88's goes beyond that, but why would I?? It's killing everyone in the room.
:ROFLMAO:

I recently picked up a Mk VII and play it through a Suhr RL but I keep the Master on all 3 channels a little above 9:00. I think that pushes pretty hard and would wake the neighborhood at that volume through a cab. Maybe I’m a scaredy cat, but I’d be scared to push it above 10:00-11:00.

Yeah, really no need to push it that hard at all. Especially through a load box.

Where was the resonance control on the TAE set? Really got to be careful setting it in positions 2-4 due to the huge deviation in impedance curve from a real cab.
