Hi Ralph, thanks for the in depth reply ! You rule btw. Mine also has a sticker which says something like G12H80.

I will compare them in my Combo first and record something (don't expect something like the clip above though ).
May take some time, will post it into this thread.

Before making the clips I've swapped the CL80 and MC90 back and forth in my combo.

Yes, as many of you've said, the MC90 is much more mid heavy than the CL80. The CL80 is much more neutral. Not sure which I prefer, also as most of you said, its a question of the environment, the cab and amp.

Still a nice speaker. I guess I will also compare it to a V30, makes more sense IMO because of the heavy mids of both. Seems to me that the MC90 has more lower mids focussed while the V30 is located more the upper range (at least in my combo- in the clip it is vice versa).

I will try to do the clips this weekend.
