So I have a Mesa single rectifier at home that I love. It's so loud though, and if I want to practice for a while, it gets annoying for other people in the house. I really want to find something I can run into the front of my little practice amp that can give me that Mesa mark IV sound.
Now I know the throttle box can pretty much do it, but does anyone here have experience with the Flux Five for high gain sounds? I really dig the Mark series over the rectifiers, but I play mainly high gain rock/metal. I know that the Throttle Box is based on the rectifiers and the Flux Five is on the Mark series of amps. i dont have a dealer where I can test drive this stuff beforehand. Thanks guys
