I used one with a Mesa/Boogie Strategy 500. Was the baddest tone with perfect gain and singing lead tones. I used a Rocktron Midioctopuss to switch it up. I always come to thinking about that setup and it’s been since the mid 90’s since I had one!
 
You're so on the money, surprised it hasn't sold. These are the predecessor to the triaxis and completely destroy it by a mile, and it has midi too...
