MURDERATOR
I mentioned this in the other thread but my factory foot switch is causing ground hum. Any suggestions on what to look for? Thanks!🙏 it’s that odd cable that you sometimes use on TV’s… can’t remember the type… when it’s plugged in, significant hum…. I was moving stuff around the other day and accidentally unplugged it and…..silence…

Seems it would have to be the cable or cable jack. Replace and Dioxit.

By TV, you mean the red and white RCA type jacks or what? I've had two different Rectifier footswitches. Dual is a normal tip & ring instrument cable and the Rectoverb is a 7 pin deal bump.

Mike B. Himself thinks it’s just my complete ton of shit I’m running causing a ground loop. Then our very Wayne said the same thing…. But dammit man…I can’t help it…

Took the pedal apart…everything is good….

While you have the pedal apart , do the continuity check with your multi meter ( does your meter beep ? ) . One end outside pin , other end inside where pin connects to the board . Thinking it's the ground .
Good luck grasshopper 😔
