Anybody out there know what the Rectifier Vintage setting is based on? I can get some Mark-ish sounds with this setting, but was unsure if Mesa ever said which Mark amp inspired that setting?

Believe it or not, Mesa used to tout that amp as a "modern" take on the Marshalls that were out at the time. Not sure about that mode specifically but the overall feel and vibe of the amp was supposed to be a sort of modernized/Americanized hot-rodded british thing. The earlier models had a lot in common with the SLO which could be said to be that type of amp as well.
