Mesuring impedance in cabinet with multimeter?

Is it possible to measure the impedance in my cab with a multimeter?
I know it is 16 ohms mono, and was originally delivered setup for mono (Rivera Luke 4x12)
It seems it`s been converted to stereo at some time, but I don`t know who did it, and if they by some chance managed to wire it to 32 ohms stereo :D

It would be a bitch to discover that the hard way. Can I use a multimeter, connect a cable to each of the inputs, and measure impedance on the ring and tip?

EDIT:
I don`T have a multimeter, otherwise I`d tried it already :gethim: :D

Yup. But you will read the resistance Knut, which is a bit less than the impedance . . .

Tip red, ring black, set to 200 Ohm - any cheap 10€ can do that . . .

Thanks, my friend. So I will read around 7, or around 30 then? I guess I`ll get the idea if it is series or parallell, at least :)
I have a 1x12 8 ohm cab, I`ll compare the reading to that one.

A 4 ohm cab will show about 2.6 ohms of resistance.
An 8 ohm cab will show about 6 ohms of resistance.
A 16 ohm cab will show about 13 ohms of resistance.

Good luck!
