give me some good black , death, doom , thrash , recommendations boys !!
 
The past 4 or 5 exodus albums have had some crushing riffs on them. The main riff from Persona Non Grata is a great workout riff. Watching "old rake" figure it out on YouTube and cussing Gary is hilarious!

Thread 'New Death Metal'

I figured since there is not much on here in the way of some of the newer more underground death metal bands, I'd start this thread to share some of the more recent gems out there.

There's a huge scene in Chile, also - so many great bands out of there right now...I'll post some of them throughout this thread as time goes (Infamovs' Stench of the Unholy Graves is below and is great from start to finish

Detherous is a great band, heavy Demolition Hammer influence




Blood Tsunami - the infamous Faust is the drummer


Nekromantheon - members of Abhorration and Obliteration in this thrashier band
 
I just got into Blackbraid. They are dropping an album soon.
 
Dawn - melodeath



Vader - thrashy death metal



Dissection - blackened melodic death



Skepticism - funeral doom



Sacramentum - blackened death metal

 
Black and death were the first genres listed so that's what I posted, but I have a million and a half reccs if you want em @Dyllheaven88

Hazzerd! It's always cool to see them mentioned as I've been listening to them over the years and always dug them
 
This bands first two albums were incredible. Haven't checked to see if they released a new one yet

 
Eluveitie has a big catalog worth checking out


Barren Earth has some cool tunes


Deathwhite good for doom. I love these guitar tones


Borknager is always fun
