After Keith jammed on one of my amps at NAMM we set up a time to send him the demo rig for some good one-on-one time in his studio. This is what he came up with after one day:

Signal chain: S7G Merrow Signature (prototype) --> Rhodes Colossus H-100 --> Modded Randall Iso-Cab --> SM57 --> Profire Interface --> Presonus Studio One Pro

If you haven't heard Keith's stuff, check out some of his music (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/awaken-the-stone-king/id413314807), he's a bad ass! Jeff Loomis appears on track 2 of that album with a killer solo too.

Keith is amazing! Metal riff/polyrhythm god! Amp sounds killer!

Awesome production on this clip! Killer metal player. My head is about to explode.

Nice... I own his Demisery - Hive of Mutation disc, some killer killer stuff on that.

.39 - 1.00 is just sick. And the age old question "can it do heavy?" is answered with a swift kick to the jaw.

Thanks guys!

I just found out from Keith that he wrote, programmed drums, and recorded that song in about 3 hours. Pretty freaking crazy if you ask me!

I grabbed a copy from him at NAMM -- it hasn't left my truck since. BRUTAL. After Keith recorded this video Gord contacted me and we might be doing something for him in the future.

make him play pillars of creation through it!

He may do one better for you...his next album might be in the works, but I'll never tell.

that sounds incredible.

also on another note, this amp has pretty well been around the usa if i am not mistaken. it gets sent all over the place, which would lead me to believe that not only do these amps sound freakin incredible, they are very well built and roadworthy too.

Thanks Mike!

Yeap, that amp in particular has been on the road almost continuously since its inception as the prototype Colossus in late 2010. It's flown as checked luggage from Indy to LA twice, LA to Indy once. It's been delivered by UPS to a huge number of destinations all over the USA -- California, Texas, Nevada, Oregon, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Alabama -- those are at least the states I can think of off the top of my head. Since it was built I've had it in my shop for maybe a total of 2-3 weeks, over 3 occasions I can recall. Pretty incredible how many miles this amp has traveled!

The only thing that sucks is I can't ever keep anything long enough for me to enjoy playing it.
