Those clips don't sound anything like a Marshall to me though. :confused:

thanks man, just threw an SM57 in front of a V30 and recorded :) The clip with the drums.....the drums were played by me, so don't poke too much fun. It was also boosted with a Maxon OD808 :) Just tracked twice, panned hard left/hard.

Shit, I think it sounds almost dead on to a Marshall JCM800, like Zakk type tone...but, a hair drier and more aggressive. After all, it does have 6 KT88's in the Power section! :rock:

The only reason I'm selling it is to payoff some bills.....I offed this rather than my Recto because, for the type of music I play the Recto tracks a little bit better, sounds more modern.
 
That thing sounds great! But 6 KT88's...??? :scared: Do they make a lower wattage model?

Nope :) It actually sounds great at lower volumes...the volume was at like 8:00 on that clip.
 
I'm having such a hard time selling this amp :( I think it's because no one has ever heard of one let alone played one. :doh:

One of the best cleans I've ever heard on a hi-gain head.......and I've had many of them :) :rock:
The reverb is actually halfway decent too.

I'll have to try boosting my drums with a Overdrive sometime. :D
