I as on DAG's website and I was reading though different amps and I stumbled upon the Metro-Friedman (already knew of it's existence).

What I found interesting is that in the description it states that the MF amp is an exact replica of a certain 68' Marshall (yes, I think EVH).

I know tone is in the hands but it'd pretty interesting if the MF was in fact an exact replica of a certain 68' Plexi

Anyone out there that can confirm/deny this?

Off-topic, but I'm still picking my jaw up off the floor after Dave confirmed the specs of 12301 in early October on the Metro board. Maybe my favorite internet moment ever.

Four and a half months later and STILL no one sounds like EVH.

And no one ever will. I like Eddie's tone but I'm not going to say I'm an Eddie chaser.

The amp does sound cool though for something a bit warmer and more aggressive than a typical plexi clone.
