They are Indonesian made. They aren't terrible guitars but..for a little more you could do better for sure used.

Have an X series bass and an 8 string MS, and love them ...for the $$$. Both a bit stiff feeling, tbh. Otherwise, I feel like the X series is one of the best at their price points. Wouldn't hesitate, but the cheetah print model also comes up for sale often

I have a few JS series, 2 warriors, 1 rhoads ht. fine for the price. The X series are better if you like the specs (I do; neck thru, painted neck, Seymour Duncans, the FR Special is the weakest point IMO.
