I have a friends amp, MG250DFX 2x12 combo, that is having some issues with the input jack. It cuts in and out as soon as you get the amp up to volume. You can duplicate the problem by moving the instrument cord back and forth while the guitar is plugged into the input jack. Tried cleaning all inputs, loop jacks, etc with deoxit and a cable end. Problem is still there. I figure the input jack is probably just worn out and needs replacing due to age, but I am having a hell of a time finding the correct jack to get as a replacement.
Seems like every place I check has a different jack for this amp. Hoffmanamps has some replacements, but still not sure which one to purchase.
Anyone have a reliable place that they use for online Marshall replacement parts? Need to get this and some black plastic nuts ordered very soon.
