Some guitar store
it only has slightly more than I keep in the man cave

I walk in there and I think 2 things-
so, this is where the TGP boys buy their kit
and
I'll not be helping you to pay for any of this

That high-five was painful.

agreed. While I love Michael and feel he is a total stud and guitar god, it seems increasingly so that he has a bit of an ego. I was listening to him talk about how he turned down all these gigs .. the other half of the story is that he seems to always have asked for too much when he was asked to join a band. He also has this unhealthy obsession with hating his own brother. Almost like he can't let anything go. That said, he is one of my influences and just has that magic about him... can't ever take that away from him.

Michael has an immense ego, but he's got the goods to back it up. Unlike Joe Perry, who blew-off a meet and greet request by Edward. I've never met any of the guys in Aerosmith, but everyone I've ever met who has, didn't have good things to say. I suspect Michael's feelings about his brother go beyond hijacking Michael's brand, but who knows? I'm sure he loves him. As they say... it's just business.

As long as Michael is out there, rock is not dead. Not as far as I'm concerned anyway. My first time laid story has one left-out detail... What made me want to pickup the guitar, was hearing Michael's guitar work on Obsession. Tammy not only had every UFO release, but just about every relevant rock act up to 1978. She turned me onto guitar, and I dumped her for getting in the way of my playing. Irony defined.

Let me tell you something. I'd absolutely soil myself if I was walking down the streets of Paris looking for the Eiffel Tower and Michael Schenker walked past me. I'd be in shock for sure.

It is weird that although he seems like he has an ego, it is so different than say Axl with an ego or Ritchie Blackmore, etc. Seems like he just brutally honest about things and has a bit of a chip on his shoulder I guess.

A friend and I played pool and drank with Ritchie Blackmore at an Yngwie show. He's one of the most down to earth people I've ever met. No display of ego at all. The kind of guy you could talk to forever. Cordial, and well-mannered.

Wow, that blows my mind. He was one guy that I always said I'd be afraid to just walk up to somewhere. If he is like that, I imagine that he is one of those guys who is cool to fans but can't stand people in the music business. I've read stories about him being "difficult" but two of the people that said that, Dio and Ian Gillan, were difficult. LOL

Didn’t Blackmore roofie his tour manager, strip him naked, lock him in the trunk of a car and had that car go on a ferry ride to like Iceland all because he pissed Blackmore off or some thing like that? Maybe he cleaned up his act in his later age?

Maybe he's like that with people he's working with, I don't know? Ian Paice was there. Mars Cowling and Pat Travers as well. I asked Ian what it was like working with Gary Moore? He replied: "Let me put it to you this way, mate... what Gary Moore wants, Gary Moore gets." Phil Moog was there, along with Paul Chapman. Paul is a cool guy! I didn't attempt to talk to Phil Moog.

This is classic, he's just messing with their heads like he knows nothing, "if it feels good then it's good." Michael knows way more to all of it, don't be fooled he's been around a long time. I love how dude tries to impress him with the old P90s and Hendrix shit and he's like not for me but gives him the its good for you schtick lol

Would anybody want Michael Schenker without that chip on his shoulder?? (well, maybe lead singers would, but...)
