I was considering the Pitchfactor, but it occurred to me that I probably don't need all the extra stuff that pedal offers. What are some other great sounding pedals for the VH-style pitchshifting?

Boss PS-6?

I'm still not 100% sure that I WON"T get the Pitchfactor, as I love that classic 910/949 sound. Just looking for options.

Personally, I haven't heard anything that sounds as good/accurate for that sound as the PitchFactor or the original Eventide gear. It's a unique sound and I have a Pitchfactor that I only use for the micropitchshifting thing... The Axe was good, but it still didn't sound like the Eventide stuff for this - I plugged the PicthFactor in and immediately there it was...

The H9 is great for that stuff...as well as a bunch of other cool Eventide effects.

I agree, the MicroPitch is nice. I purchased the algorithm for my H9 awhile back and actually sat down with it last weekend. I was dialing in some Jake E. Lee type tones with it. Also can get some nice clean tones. I also use the Diatonic algorithm to harmonize some of my lead parts. I find programming the H9 to be some what annoying using the PC editor but it's flexibility and cost effectiveness out weigh that minor annoyance.

ive had the tc gforce,g system, and the eclipse itself..I found the pitchfactor does the micro pitch thing the best..sound and feel wise..although id love to have a 7600.

I haven't found much better than Eventide, IMHO. Other pitch FX I've tried seem to add some grit to the tone...
