I'm looking to get an 8-button midi footswitch for my amp. The best thing I was able to find was a footswitch with 5 buttons and a bank button to essentially make it a 10 button footswitch. I'm not wild about this because I'd like to have 8 seperate buttons instead of a bank button. Does anyone have any suggestions? Rack mount is not an option. I've seen several 4 button footswitches that would be perfect if they were only 8 button instead. Thanks!!!!

I agree with the Midimate suggestion. Mine worked very well with my rack setup.

Ground Control Pro will give you 8 instant access buttons and 4 for selecting patches.

Under setup you can change the 8 instant accesss to be patch selecting buttons. I think its either 10 preset bank or 4 preset / 8 instant access

yep true. Sorry , I use mine in the 8 and 4 config so thats all I ever think about I guess.

Who wouldn't! I guess if its not matched with a GCX the instant access serves no purpose unless CC commands are programmed.

Right. I use my IA's for my G Major effects blocks, but other then that....

Thanks for the help guys. I think you guys have some great suggestions, but ultimately are not what I'm looking for. I need just the eight seperate footswitches and that's it. I found this below:

This is more along the lines of what I'm looking for I think. It's something that will just switch between the eight channels that I'll be using. I'm not a fan of the construction, but at the price point it may be a good solution.

Your thoughts?

I have one of those midi buddy pedals. It will switch presets for you, but there is ZERO controllability with it - you will never be able to assign CC# changes to it. In other words, you'll never be able to set up the bottom row to change presets and say one button in the top row for tap tempo, one for turning delay off, one for a lead boost, etc.

If ALL you need is preset changes, then it will work great. It's sturdier than a behringer by far.
