Ok I bought one for my Dmoll sometime last year and it works great but I want to know if there is a way to set the MG up so that it will act as a 5 pin footswitch and not jump banks.... I have accidentally done this and it’s a real pain in the ass...

Probably not. It's a simple controller. But why not have the same program on 1/6 - 2/7 etc? If you mostly use it for channel switching? That way, you end up on the sound you intended, even if you're a little eager on the switching?
