Anybody know of a device that you can put in your MIDI line to add phantom power? The G Major doesn't supply phantom power but I'd love to power my MIDI controller that way instead of with an external power supply.

Why not DIY? You need a 9V jack (and a supply) and two midi jacks - and a small (pedal sized) Hammond enclosure.

Connect PINs 4 and 5 of both jacks and run the + of you supply-jack to PIN 3 and the - to PIN 1.
The powered jack gets hooked to your pedal the other gets midi from the Major.

Rocktron makes a 7-to-5-pin cable that has a jack for adding phantom power.
You just plug the 5-pin end into your GMajor, a standard 9V adapter into the power jack on the cable, and the 7-pin end into your controller.

Yeah DIY is definitely doable. Maybe this would be the way to go. I'd just need to find somewhere to punch the metal.
