I bought this Mod 50 off of a fellow forumite, and I left the midi channel to what it was set at when I got (ch6) it until now. I am finally programming my rig for playing out, and for some reason the amp is reading Program changes on all channels like the omni mode is on.

The dipswitches on the inside are all off except 2 and 6 which I thought meant that the amp would be on midi channel 3, and reading PC's. When I use my all access to program a preset the amp starts flipping channels no matter which channel I'm trying to program.

I also found out that since apparently the All Access goes through the channels in order this problem didn't appear before because the amp was on midi channel 6 so it received the channel 6 program change last negating all of the other ones being sent. I realize I could set the Mod 50 to the highest channel, but that would just be a band aid for whatever is going on, and I'd like the problem to be fixed.

I'm emailing egnater as well, but I was wondering if anyone on here has had a similar problem.

Have you tried resetting the dip switches, maybe flipping S5 a few times, and firing it back up to see if it behaves?

Yep, turned it off...flipped every single one of them a few times. Even tried to set it to a few different midi channels. I talked to Bruce via email once today although no closer to the solution quite yet.

Well, good luck with it, Flump. I hope the solution is easy and cheap. :)

Bruce got back to me, and I'll probably have to send the amp in, but he was more than generous with fixing it. So, +1 for their customer service.
