Hello,
This subject has certainly been touched on In the past, but I wanted to clarify as my situation may be slightly different. I have a sovtek mig 50. It only has a 4,8,16 ohm output jack. I have a mesa os(8ohm) and an engl pro (8ohm) cab. I want to hook both up to the mig. I know the cabs have to daisy chain off of each other. Can I hook both up without doing any rewiring? as I want to leave the cabs stock so I can use my other heads as normal.

Thank you in advance, Zach

If you connect the two 8 ohm cabs set the amp to 4
Ok, so if the back plate looks like this, then would I go from 4 ohm out on head > 4ohm in(Mesa cab) then Mesa out > 4 ohm in on engl cab?

No. The 4 Ohm inputs are both INPUTs on that cab, to use it in stereo.

You would connect the MIG 50's 4 Ohm output to the 8 Ohm Input of the Mesa cab (bottom right jack) and then the Output of the Mesa cab (top right) to the next 8 Ohm cab.
