hey guys i just got some pictures of my mike lull build. I have not seen the neck yet but here is a preview of the body. It is a koa top on swamp ash. It will have bkp ceramic warpigs, hipshot hardware, gotoh 510 tuners, and a birdseye maple neck modeled after my charvel! It will also have jumbo ss frets!

Nice, dude builds some seriously badass basses, never seen a guitar from him, should be awesome. Congrats.

yeah he is not really well known for his guitars but they are just as nice as suhr/tyler/tom anderson. Mike has done all of my repair work over the year and my business is actually very close to his so i have gotten to know him and his staff reasonable well. His standard neck size definitely caters more to an old school style of player maybe even a blues player. Luckily he was able to do a compound radius and a neck thickness close to my USA charvel. The one thing that really stands out is his fret work! it is hands down the best that i have played. His guitars tend to be on the lighter side as well which i like. Im going to have him build me a basswood/maple/maple next time with a baked neck if he can manage it! Even if someone didn't buy and instrument from him he is about the only person i could recommend for repair work in the greater Seattle area. And yes his basses are probably the best fender style this side of the Mississippi!
