I have a marshall cabinet right now that is wired up for a total 16-ohm load (four 16 ohm speakers). I really would like to implement the stereo/mono switch jack that is on a lot of the 1960 4x12 cabs so i use the cabinet in stereo, but have the flexibility to go back and forth.
Obviously you can buy these, but they're about 50 bucks :loco:

From this image it looks like they're using 2 stereo jacks and possibly a SPDT slider.

Does anyone know how to go about wiring this up?

Thanks for reading :)

Edit: of course, right after i posted this i google'd marshall stereo mono wiring and came across this

so, each side is set for 8 ohms in that image. Now i just need to figure out the switching. It would be nice to mimic it exactly to get the 4/16 ohms mono or 8/8 ohms stereo.

thank you SO MUCH for those links dave :)
i sincerely appreciate it!!

Another vote for DB INST....I use them exclusively for all stereo cabs. Excellent product.
