It’s off-putting for me that the Sunday morning news programs, Face the Nation and Meet the Press are both anchored by women, along with the CBS evening news.
Female reporting has also crept into college and pro football, a game they have never played.
I think the crux of the problem is relating to the person I’m listening to and of course it’s easier to relate to a male point of view than female with me being male.
Is this truly misogynistic, or more of just a male-oriented line of thinking?

In my opinion, not enjoying or relating to a female reporter is not misogynistic.

Thinking women should not be reporters or presenters because you don’t relate to them is maybe slightly misogynistic, but I don’t think offensive.

Thinking women are not as capable as men to be reporters is where I think it crosses into misogyny.

It’s ok not to like the way women do things but that is different than thinking they are less capable

It’s also probably a common feeling. There has certainly been a push to have more women shown in these roles. I don’t think that necessarily means they are hiring incapable women, but I don’t think it’s just a coincidence either.

With sports, I’m certain it’s an attempt to attract a larger audience. Most sports fans are going to watch sports regardless of who is presenting them imo

I feel better now.
The programs I mentioned just don’t hold my attention anymore, which isn’t a good thing when it comes to news. Football, I just hit mute.

I've been told I'm mysoginistic or however you spell it. I do think my bride looked her best pregnant and in a kitchen but truth be told I don't have a beef with female reporters. They do a better job 3-1 against the males. The males wear makeup, that's pure weakness. TV sucks anyways. So does football. Go play your guitar. How big is your flat screen? That's the size of the septic pipe running into your living room and people sit around watching it. My neighbor has FOX news blasting most of the day. Love thy neighbor. Death to TV. Long live rig-talk!

No mayonnaise means no mayonnaise….bitch….

I guy walked up to the counter to order his lunch.
The chalkboard said:
Cheese Sandwich $1
Ham and Cheese $3
Handjobs $5

A blonde with big tits walks over to take his order. The guy asks “hey, are you the one that gives the handjobs?”

She gives him a smile and says “I sure am baby”

The guy replies, “well in that case, go wash your hands bitch and make me a cheese sandwich”

masculine, loud, obnoxious, entitled women are annoying. IMO.

other than that, IDGAF what they do for a living.

i enjoy female anchors. something to look at with the volume off
sometimes i even do more than look.......like drink a coffee lol

I don't mind women in the news or broadcasting sports whatever. As long as they know what they are doing.

Speaking of sports and knowing what you are doing, this was the best part of yesterday's Sunday Football.

You actually watched "Face the nation" and "Meet the press" ? On another note who gives a shit if it's considered misogynistic, does that mean if somebody on this forum told you it's misogynistic you would continue watching them ?
