Hey Guys,

So I've been thinking about throwing some different speakers into the mix for different tones and I know for my 'core sound', that I want my Scumback BM75's to be in the mix no matter what.

Currently, I was thinking about blending them with either Scumback M75's or Celestion G12H30's. What have you guys tried in the past? Anybody try a good mix with a Friedman BE or anything else close to that?

I'm really leaning towards the G12H30's right now.

Help me out!

If you want to stay Scum, mix your M's with H's. I have a couple cabs with M75/H75LHDC's. The H's can carry the bottom end and smooth the top end a bit. You can get the same results out of the H30 Celestions. Some people are liking their Friedman amps with Greenback/V30 combinations in a 412. I don't like it. With the V30's being double the output of the GB's, they seem to over take the GB and all I hear is V30, especially at gig volume.

Thanks for the input. I've never, ever gelled with V30's. I'd love to have some M75's with my BM75's as they will probably sit the best in mix. For the time being though, I'll most likely grab a pair of H30's for my 4x12.

I agree with mixing the H and M Scummies. I did for a while but eventually settled for 65 watt M75-LHDC's in a 2X12 and a 100 watt M75 in a 1X12. Loved it but lately have been using the 2X12 along with a Mesa oversized 3/4 closed back 1X12 with a MC90.
