I have a Friedman BE100 & am looking for a set of speakers.

I was thinking of 4 scumback M75s, but I hear a combo of M75 & H75 may be better.

I've never mixed speakers in a cab so I have no idea how this will turn out.

I'm really just looking for a tight articulate over all tone with tight lows, thick rich mids & highs with no high end treble harshness.

I know Dave loves his Friedmans with Greenback bottoms and V30's top. Also heard great things about Scumback loaded cabs with Friedmans. With the BE100's darker mid voicing, I would probably pair the M75's with H75's.. You'll maintain the bottom end with the M75's but still get that mid and treble that you'll need with the H75's. The J75 is another maybe to consider.. slightly more treb rolloff than the H75 but not as much as M75. I have M75/J75's in my 2x12's and love it with my Modded Marshall. Cheers

Best modded Marshall tone I get is through my Splawn 2x12 with Small Blocks.

Out of the M75 & J75, which one has the tighter bottom end & is more articulate?

I'm mostly going for tight bottom end, sweet warm highs & thick mids. I wonder if a single speaker can actually do that?

65w Weber Legacy 75hz can do it. I have two of those and two 75w Weber Gray Wolfs. Sounds awesome!

Shoot Jim at Scumback an email and ask for his opinion. He can give you some suggestions based upon what you are going for.
