Yeah, if you need crystal clean and lots of headroom (no/little breakup even at high volumes), the TD is the way to go. If you want a bit warmer sound, potential for a little more grit, and some good tube breakup at high volumes, BMAN is the way to go. I have both and neither is going anywhere. They both rock.
The TD, to me, doens't make me go "wow" or anything...but it's the basic foundation for my clean tone, since I usually start out with a very pristine clean tone and go from there. A channel does the job quite well. The B channel is a great cruch tone (as the Deluxe was, of course).
The BMAN makes me go "wow". It has a great "smoky" tone (if you dial it in that way) that kind of hits you in the upper-mid chest. Just that right frequency to get your chest and ribcage vibrating. A very cool module, and the B channel is freaking awesome. Great blues lead tone, and can go from gritty to dirty to smoky to singing, and responds great to volume knob control.
I wouldn't use BMAN as my only clean. The TD I could.
