I just did five gigs in a row with the MOD 50 and I'm now a believer. The tone and versatility of this amp are impressive. I have the T/D and SL modules. I'm still trying to find a nice balance between the Deluxe and Twin sides. They both sound great but require a little different EQing to sound their best. Any advice on how to balance them?

The SL module is killer. If I run the mids low at around 8:30 on Channel A I can get very close to a JTM 45. With the mids @ 12:00 I'm in Super Lead territory. Channel A loves my BB Preamp and Fuzz pedals.

After a lot of tweaking I like the overall master set to full and use the modules volume to get my level. This sounds the most natural to my ears. I'm using a Scumback H75 30 and a Celestion G12H in a older Rivera Q2x12 open back cab. I'm going to pick up a Egnater 2x12 cab. I'm getting too much speaker break up with the T/D module at higher gig volume for my taste. The Lead 80's in the Egnater cab should be much cleaner at higher volume.

Now I'm curious about the other modules. The GAS now begins :m17:

Glad your diggin it man!!!The best advice for the T/D is to send it back and have them turn it into a D/D or a T/T,great concept, but getting both sides to work together is really tuff

Right on! The SL is one module I have to have. The classic 80s should solve your breakup issues on the T/D.

Welcome to the club!
