1987x (with fx loop) modded by Shea. Started its life as a Black Sun mod but has had some mods (refinements) added to bring what I believe to be greater versatility in this already amazing mod. The amp is no longer just a high gain modern monster, but can now do low, mid and high gain with the flick of the added gain structure switch. Also, the original Black Sun mod was offered as an on/off switch which has been replaced with a variable pot so that it can be brought in with subtlety or all the way on which is a must for lower gain settings. Also, a 3 way bright switch was added for more options as well as a depth EQ 3 way switch for further versatility to accommodate the depth control mod. The head shell is new.
