Ok, who’s had any other Monomyths, especially a 1987x? How does it compare? Is it as good? I don’t doubt Shea’s work for a second, its top notch, but how good are these amps as donors, at the super low price that they are new?
How much are these modded from Shea, and how long is the wait?

Did anyone even play the marshall stock? I did not. Literally opened the box to be sure it was the right amp inside and mailed it off.

Fedex fucked up and said they could not deliver today as it was still at the hub on a truck and would come tomorrow but that would not work so I got them to give it to me at the hub. Went home and just surfaced. What a fun amp!!! So articulate and so many awesome tones. What he has happening in the gain and high end detail is something to behold. I tried to buy back amp JMP that I sold and Shea had modded and this is better. KILLER tone machine. The clarity and feel in leads are truly something special. So many ways to dial it in as well.
