Hey Papa!

Just something I want to float out there... I personally never need to use the master, loop, mute, or midcut switches on my FS7HE. Mid cut is always enabled for me. Master is always 1. Loop I don't use, mute I use my tuner.

Is there any mileage in doing a smaller (and lower priced?) controller that only offers channel 1+2+3??

I could get a midi controller I suppose, but there aren't any that only offer 3 switches on the market.

How about the Peak MIDI Controller?

Has 4 Presets and 2 bank switches, but I guess it would already save you a lot of real estate.

WOW! You legend. I knew they had bigger ones, but I didn't know they had one this small. That actually could definitely do the trick!

EDIT: Predictably, not easy to get ahold of here in the UK. Boooo.

If you don't need to do any complicated switching there is always the MIDI Mouse: http://www.tech21nyc.com/products/effec ... mouse.html

I thought about that, but I don't really want to scroll. If those switches could be 1/2/3, that'd be fine. Disaster Area stuff is just a tad too expensive for my taste, especially with shipping to the UK.

I literally just need to go channel 1, 2, or 3. Nothing fancy here!

I use the 4 button Peak controller and it works flawlessly. Very compact, too!

Midi Mouse ?

Too small, and requires scrolling. Three dedicated switches is just much simpler. I *think* I've got a solution though. Either the Peak controller with 4 switches, or a DIY midi controller using one of these:

I've got one already, but have never used it. So I've got a box incoming, will let you know how I get on!
