Monte Allums mods

Has anyone ever used a pedal with any of his mods done to it. Im really looking into getting a BOSS CS-3 and then buying his opto mod plus kit and having a local tech perform the mod for me. His stuff sounds like its exactly what im after but i just wanted to get yalls opinion on his work first.

I did a BOSS DS-1 Distortion with his Recto mod. Parts are high quality and instructions are extremely detailed and easy to follow if you have even a minimal background in electronics and proficiency soldering. Pedal sounds awesome--it's now the best-sounding DS-1 I've ever heard and all my friends are asking me to make them each one.

I don't think you can go wrong with Monte's stuff--he's great to deal with, he uses top-notch products, and is very responsive with support.

Zero complaints and highest recommendation.

It's good stuff with clear instructions, but if you do some searching, you should pretty much be able to find the mods on other forums.

Ive done a bunch of his mods. Another one of montes not mentioned here is his GE7 mods. I love my GE7 now. great mod.

I had the Same SD-1 with them mods. Sounded WAY BETTER than stock.
