More Jose tones!

What you said wasn’t that bad, just unnecessary. I thought the playing was pretty good actually. I like videos like this to hear an amp too. Not just the polished pro player demos.
I'll never be polished or pro!

I honestly pinch myself in light of the stages and audiences I've been able to play in front of despite how remedial my playing is.

Well OP, I thought your lead playing was really good. Hard to hear in this video how it's different than my BE50, but I look forward to one day trying the Jose. It seems the Jose has a lot of low end, given that most people do not turn the bass up past 5 and there is no thump. No response knob might be a blessing for me, as I just said in another thread that my BE sounds best with the response at 0. Anyway, I'm jealous.

Question: would this Jose sound closer to the Kill 'em All tone or would the BE100 sound closer?
Yes, but I'm fairly certain kill em all was recorded with a similar amp as most 80's tones. It was just played with more aggression and angst. The BE 100 is way too compressed and the 50 is similar. You are right about the response knob needing to be next to zero to hear mids. Best thing is the play a Jose to hear how much the tone is shifted back toward Marshall with a smidge of compression.

Amp compression should be like salt. We like a little bit, not a bowl of salt poured on our food!
