DESCRIPTION:
This is a spring-loaded, electro-optical wah with Morley’s switchless design that features three selectable wah modes: your standard Wah mode, WOW! mode, and Wah Lock mode.
The standard Wah mode is exactly what you’d expect as far as a sharp, cutting, Lynch-inspired wah sound perfectly oriented for leads. The WOW! mode is more throaty and “vocal” by shifting the peak frequency focus of the wah effect down lower to yield a more pronounced “wow” sound. And the Wah Lock mode locks the pedal at a designated point in the wah’s sweep, which you simply set via the Notch knob. Think of the Wah Lock mode as if you had an old-school (non-spring-loaded) wah pedal and stopped the pedal mid-sweep to get that classic “cocked wah” sound by creating a bandpass filter.
Lastly, you have the Loudness knob to control the output level of the pedal in all three wah modes. So, you can bump up the Loudness knob to add a bit of extra volume to the output of the pedal, or you can dial back the Loudness knob so that your signal stays perfectly level with no change in output when you engage the wah effect.
Supposedly, only 600 of these limited edition, painted Dragon 2 wahs were made. Lynch fanatics will love this thing!
