hows the little bitty Satch combo?

and anybody play the Jet City Pico yet?

I do not think anyone has yet. I met Andy Marshall in 87' he has never done a high gain or brutal amp that I know. I would not think that is one.

I have never had a problem. I am always being told to turn down. The drummer in my band is pretty damn loud as well. I usually put the 112 cab up on a stool so its about waist high. Some modules are better than others, the Mr. Scary works well. Tried a JTM module one day and it didn't seem to get as loud. That's without using the boost function as well. I bought this used and I do think the power tubes were changed out. There are Sovtek's in it now. Didn't think that was from the factory. Bias is set to the recommended, if I remember correctly right in the middle of the range.

In a room it does work better. On a stage where its just pointing outward it isn't as good but if it's mic'd and you are feeding monitors it works well. I use it all the time because I can throw it in the cab of my truck and not have to worry about something being in the bed if I need to make a stop. Live I use my Lynch Box head. I'll use it at rehearsals at if I want to rehearse with different tones. Depends on how close to a gig we are.

yea, kindda appears to be a Univavle designed for mass production. the tube swapping thing would be neat though.

This amp because you can shape the sound with tubes so easy and the right pedal may be a good way to do this. Hard to say from here ....
From what I understand Andy had this design a long time ago and did nothing with it yet. So when this thing came up it seemed to fit perfect.
The Dave Friedman of Rack Systems Ltd modified viewtopic.php?f=57&t=74201 thing looks very interesting also ....
