Motor City Dim Muk

Anybody have experience with the Motor City Dim Muk?

I contacted Wade about a pickup that sounds similar to the Detroiter for a single coil space and that is what he recommended.
I'm wondering how it compares to something like a JB Jr or Hot Rails.

Or perhaps someone could recommend a single coil sized hb?
I tried a strat with a dimarzio schb in the bridge yesterday and it is exactly what I'm looking for . It was in a pawn shop, they don't know what pickup it is. It balanced well with the single coils, but had more balls and wasn't thin or shrill. Fast Track, Chopper, Tone Zone? Dunno...
