Very interesting indeed. I've watched it several times. Classic. I like the end the most when that lady bangs on one with a special hammer. I save that for when I see someone posting about how fragile tubes are lol. And the tube testing they do is pretty cool. It's a 'How Its Made' show set in the '50s.

Fast forward to this video if you want to learn a bit more about then vs now. I'd like to see a current production Chinese factory to see how much is now automated.

Astonishing is the way they handle with bare hands and no masks powdered tungsten/molybden/barium/strontium which are highly toxic materials. I guess it's one of the reason tubes are now only produced in eastern countries or China. Also, the level of automatization without any computers/programming involved, only mechanical means, is quite extraordinary.
