Multi Effects with NO Amp Models, just Cab and Effects?

Hey all... just curious...

So, say I have a nice preamp... I'd love to run it through some FRFR speakers... don't need any amp models, just cabs (IR's) and some effects (chorus, delays, etc...) maybe even in a rack...

Does said unit exist? Or does anything close (Axe, Helix, etc) all have amp models that require you to just turn off the amp models?

I think you will have to pick up an AXE or the like and turn off the amp sims. For what it's worth I just picked up an AX8 for 1130 shipped direct from Fractal. While it's not replacing either of my tube amps it's a blast to play and sounds damn good through FRFR.
 
Two notes cab, mooer radar, neunaber iconoclast, etc..
edit: missed the fx requirement.
 
The new HX Effects is exactly what you described for $600. You will lack poweramp modeling but there are IR out there that include EQ curve for poweramps, add some compression and you’ll be there.

This. Just got mine for using live when I can actually have an amp on stage.

So here's my deal: I have an ISP Theta Combo and 2x12 Vector.... that's my 'live' rig with a bunch of lovely pedals...

My recording rig is the ISP Theta Pro... amazing.

But, my first ISP purchase years ago was the Theta Preamp. With my 'live' and recording rigs, the Theta Preamp is not getting any love... so either I want to find something like the HX Effects (I'll start doing some research), or sell it... which I am loathe to do.

I just didn't want to get the Mooer Radar and then more effects and start racking up a ton more gear....

I'm interested in loading up some of the Celestion IR's, as in my 'live' rig I'm using two Alnico Creams which stomp everything I've ever heard and I've used them in my DAW once or twice, but love the notion of a hardware rig that I don't have to friggin' turn on a computer to play!

EDIT: at first glance the HX Effects doesn't seem to have Cab Sims?
 
Holy hell, the HX Effects makes me want to scream... perhaps I'm just too old for all of that versatility!!! :)

Perhaps the Mooer Radar and a simple multi-effect pedal... thinking of keeping it simple since my Theta Pro does all the recording stuff... but other options are always great.

OR... how is the Digitech GSP 1101 or the Eleven Rack standing up in fidelity these days? And can both units disengage the amp models and leave the cab sims running?
