Music documentaries

After I watched I never wanted to see him or hear him ever again lol . I did like his family though
ya'll talkin bout Hated? the early 2000's gg doc?
Merle is so chill for all things considered. If anyone has ever read into how GG and Merles' father was...holy shit balls...

Also, Year and a half part one was a game changer for my pals and i as well. up to that point, none of us had any idea how records were made. i mean we watched the SHIT out of that video. i can probably recite it line by line as i watch it. "You wanna hear it with vocals? GO SING IT. My throat is fucked up right now...buddy...pal...i wouldn't ask you to do a drum roll if your arm fell off!" Also Bob Rock was an alpha dog in there with those two big ass egos. He puts james and lars AND kirk in their place with his expertiece a few times in that doc.

Ya it’s pretty sad shit . Merle is fucking great as you said

when i was a tape trader in the 90s, in high school, i used to get a lot of GG stuff. I'd seen alot of what was in that doc as far as live footage before. I had the last gig on video and the hour or so of footage of him and his pals walking around trying to find a place to score drugs and lay low. i think all that stuff is on the dvd extras. idk, i sold my copy to a used record store a few years back.

Probably my biggest take away from all of the wild GG footage i've seen, is that HIS DICK WAS SO FUCKING TINY! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Back in the day it was 'A Year and a Half..', 'Cliff 'em All' and all the Pantera home videos on repeat. Endless quotes. "Body by Zackleys"

I'd post that gg allin one but this is a family website
the 2 gg stories i recall was him climbing the lighting truss naked during his show and crapping all over the audience,

and his fans urinating on his corpse at his wake.

seemed like a well loved salt of the earth kind of fella..🤣

The Anvil doc is a classic, and it would be cool to see a sequel because they've bee actively touring since it came out like 20 years ago.

Until The Light Takes Us. This a doc about the early 90's norwegian black metal scene, but its not an ass kissy piece done by metal fans. It actually totally changed the way i looked at black metal forever after i saw it. Worth watching if you're into extreme music. Varg Vikernes is certainly an interesting guy
for better or worse.

I really enjoyed a lot of the Bon Jovi doc on Disney+ recently, the way it was framed around Jon's vocal struggles was a good idea, but it sort of lost me after the Keep the Faith album era as I don't find them that interesting after that.

The old A&E doc on Lenny Breau was pretty good if you can find it.
Muscle Shoals is a good one too
Classic Albums docs are good as well
