Awesome! I love that show. It was the anti Star Trek and I still like Star Trek, but apart from TOS Trek, B5 is my favorite SciFi TV show.

Eureeka! Playing grind-core songs about pudding isn't going to get me famous! We need to start writing pointless children's songs!

I thought for sure this thread was about the music contributions of Wham!!!

I know what the "Hokey Pokey" is all about.

WTF is "Hocky Pocky"

:D

I think it's an interesting question. My first thoughts were the Beatles and Elvis, but it's hard to say. They've stood the short term test of time, but 250 years is a long time. The only things that seem to have lasted are masterpiece works and folk/kid songs. Who knows what "popular music" from that time have faded away.

What if people are singing "I wish I was an Oscar Mayer wiener..." in 250 years? The stuff that is burned into the cultural psyche.

The Vorlons went back in time and planted that song just so that Londo would torture himself over discovering it's meaning.

Yes, I really enjoyed that show. They never pulled any punches for potential battle scenes like DS9 did at the very end.

Probably church music and anthems or holiday songs, happy birthday, amazing grace, jingle bells, star spangled banner

What Joe said but also classic symphonies.

As far as our "popular music" the only one I'd be willing to put money on is the beatles.

Pretty sure we'll have already wiped ourselves out somehow 250 years from now.
