I've had a few Axis' that played very nice never played the Charvels you listed but I would buy one of those just for the fact it has a forearm contour

Thanks .....the axis is hard to play for a long time really cuts into your forearm

My DeMartini is a monster! It rivals my Music Zoo Custom Shop. There's nothing about it that says MIM to me. Awesome neck and hardware and the pickups kill. I upgraded the block and claw to brass units from FU-Tone but it already had great tone to begin with. Super comfortable player too.

Thanks man

I dig my dimartini pro mod. I always put the disclaimer that it had a fucked up shifting neck issue that I solved with a glue stick. Play it all the time and it's super comfy and sounds great. In the same class if not better than my usa pro mods.

How did you solve it with a glue stick?

Sought advice on the forums...and all the suggestions sucked. Pulled the neck and smeared glue stick on the heel joint...bolted it back up and squared it....it never slipped again. Fig I can redo pretty easy when the neck comes off in the future. It just needed the tiniest bit of tack to not slip...and I could not figure out why it was slipping. The neck holes are solid...the pocket is tight...just one of those things.

Edit..I'm talking about the 99cent Elmer's glue stick for kindergarten.

I have to agree with this. I finally played a MiM DiMartini and it is every bit as good as a MiJ promod and as good as some of the USA promods I've owned. I have a Plum USA SC1 that I'd put up against any custom shop or anything else I've had...fucking incredible guitar..but the MiM DiMartini is the one to get out of the new production MiM Charvels. They must have a dedicated group make this one, the other MiM I've tried are not even close.

I put mine above any of the USA Pro Mods I've played which is quite a few. It easily sits with my Custom Shop which is a killer guitar. My CS may slightly edge it out in tone but I'm talking by a very small margin.
