Thinking of doing an all Musikraft build. I've done a Warmoth and a USA Custom so why not. Charvelish with Floyd type. Is the roast worth it? Light roast or go all the way with Medium? They only show light roast vs medium in the pic and no unroasted for reference.

To be honest I really like the graphite reinforced neck on the new Charvel. I think that’s an option now aftermarket. Even my roasted neck needed adjustment this winder. Neither of my new Charvel did

Gotta agree, the graphite is THE way. Don't forget to post some pics brother.

I was looking at those and saw your old posts when researching them. They even have more than one purple to choose from (I kind of want purple). But I'm not seeing them at the price you got yours.

I have a graphite reinforced Musikraft neck. Tone wise, the neck is bright and twangy, which I’m not sure if due to the rods or not; it’s not the most resonant neck I’ve ever had. But it is super stable. Most of my necks move around a bit throughout the winter. Not this one.

I have a couple of Charvel Govans and the necks do not move at all. Graphite reinforcement with roasting is fantastic!

I have a Musikraft roasted neck on a MJT partscaster. I love it. Its rock hard and smooth feeling. Stainless frets are a real bonus and I wish all my guitars had them.

Cardinal's post has me a bit concerned with the tone of the graphite reinforced necks. I know each neck is different and it just could be that neck. And I generally don't have issues with neck stability so I'm hesitant to fix a problem that might not exist.

I bought a Musikraft neck not that long ago for a Kramer makeover and tried my first attempt at finishing/oiling it myself. Came out pretty good and I'm def getting SS frets again.

And I'm considering one of those Chameleon finishes for the body. Anybody know who does those well? Sims is not too far away but dang it's expensive.

I just completed a build using a Musikraft Kramer style body and a Musikraft flamed one piece maple neck with stainless frets and beak head stock. I sprayed it with Behlen Nitro lacquer and I put a Seymour Dumcan Custom Shop RTM pickup in it. This is my 3rd Musikraft neck and second Musikraft body and I have been very happy with all of them. Mine so far have been very stable and none have been graphite reinforced or roasted.

Man that's pretty close to what I'm thinking of doing, color and all.

I haven't taken any other pics of it yet, but yes it is a pacer style body.

I'm not seeing any new pics of this badass machine here...

Just curious to know on these roasted neck.. will it be a thirsty wood that absorbs all humidity from the air if we have a non lacquered roasted neck ?

Here are a couple of pics of the back and side angles you requested. Not great pics, but hopefully they will do. Sorry it took me a while to get to it, I've had my hands full.

I want to get one of their necks as well, but I can vouche for the single hum Pacer body, the neck pocket fit was perfect with my Kramer "Claw" neck and just had an amazing sound, something about that guitar body and my parts combo made me always pick that guitar up over my forever favorites I've had..I will be watching this thread for more neck info.
