MXR 10 band old blue EQ into Friedman BE100

Are you running into the front end of the amp?!??

Have you tried to run it into the FX loop?? If it's switchable, you can use it as a "solo boost" also!
 
Yes I'm running it in front of the amp. It's not switchable so I haven't tried it in the effects loop
 
I've always found it better to go though the loop. Though the front only EQ's the preamp section.
