MXR 6 band EQ vs fish n chips

I have the Boss GE 7 and it thins the tone out, anyone notice that? was thinking of picking up the MXR or chips,,any experience? with all three? is the MXR worth double the price?
 
I have the Danelectro and I feel it's pretty transparent..and for 20 bucks.. :rock:
 
I have had all of them I would say just wait till you have the money for the mxt m 108 the 10 band eq the mxr has way less noise than most eq pedals I have used plus its just a little bit more money if you buy used I got mine for $50 shipped from gc used site its the best $50 I have spent definatly the best bang for your buck pedal imo. The mxr stuff is built like a tank too but the fish and chips isn't bad by any means just less tone shaping
 
Hi psyche, whats the major difference between the 10 band and the 6 band other than more equalizers, looking for something that beefs up tone, the boss seems to make the tone thin, anyone agree?
