My Cameron/Marshall 800 Clip I bought from Ampaddict/Jerry

Here is a clip Ive been wanting to redue because I was getting tripped up by my Volume knob the whole way through but whatever Im just noodling and playing different song pieces you can still here the tone. Dry signal captured by my Q3 Zoom until 5;31 then Wet Signal. I bought this from Amp Addict a while back.

Jerry I have been meaning to buy an amp off you. Thanks for the offer on the power amp. My vacation starts here on the 12th and Im coming to Orange County from Vegas to see THE WALL. Maybe I could set an appointment to come by and check out what you got.Do you make preamps as well?
Ive got some Egnater and Randall Module stuff that I have been powering with a Boogie 50/50 and VHT but when I Use this Marshall to power those Modules they just sound better.There is some flavor in this amp I dont hear in any other but what I have been looking for for so long.This is me at work in Vegas through a Boss G8 Pedal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQwgUVbE ... re=related
 
I havenet made preamps other than tube pedals etc but I can. let me know if you want to come out. Ill arrange a demo at a theater. sounds great in there.
 
I love bright like that. to me thats a better tone. DOA ? its weird how we all hear things so differently. I play it very differently.

That amp is really bright and that's why it cuts so good! Especially great w old Greenbacks.
 
I dont know why but I prefer that extra top. All mine have it. You can dial it out if you want presence and treble are pretty responsive but I gotta have it. nice amp wonder what he did in that one. I would like to see it.

Hey Jerry the show is Monday Dec 13th so Tues late afternoon could be great if your available.If not maybe Wed. Let me know.. I could bring the 800 and maybe you could bias it for me. Amp Addict told me this was a VH 1 Mod that Cameron does not do anymore. Thats all I know. Maybe he could chime in with more on that. Im thinking of going to LA to pick up one of Bradshaws Amp switchers as well. Maybe check out his pre amp 3+. The Marshall Cameron Clip was mostly room verb till the end there. I have a Mojave Peacemaker Modded by another Mark named Mark Abrahamian. Funny thing is I took both these amps to a Rehearsal Room here in Vegas and when I got back the Mar 800 Tubes went out and the Peacemaker sounds somehow different. I bought a Monster Power Conditioner for my DLP Television a couple years ago based on a salesman's advice and it was the best purchase I ever made. The bulb last twice as long. Anybody use these for amps? Not Furman but Monster Power. Joej
 
Mark said the owner that he modded the amp for years ago wanted it to sound like VH 1. Its a Mod he doesn't really do but he is thinking of using it on an amp in the future. (I think he said there are only a few amps out there w this mod)The amp really records and sounds great in front of a camera, but most guys would think it's too bright and harsh in person. IMO I sold it to pay for other Camerons I own(ed) and the Jose HG Mods seem to be it for me.
That said who would ever want to get rid of any Cameron Mod or amp!? :lol: :LOL:
I got the amp w 6550's in it and it sounded terrible! I put 34's in it and biased it up and she sounded way better.
 
The Old Jackson Carpeted Cabinet.Sounded better than my Marshall Cabinet loaded with V30"s! Joej
