After a whole bunch of trading/flipping I am at the stopping point if I wish to stay alive.

First generation CCV into G-Major into late 70's Marshall 4x12 with Greenbacks. This is my club rig, if i play a bigger club I'll add another 4x12.

At church i use the same rig with the CCV line out to an E-H Magnum 44 that drives the tube works 2x12. I have the 2x12 aimed at me so I can get sustain and feedback since the 4x12 is pointed away from the congregation.

The cool thing about the 2x12 is that it has 2 inputs; one for both speakers, the other lights up just the top one.

I am not the Bible scholar I should be but I think there will be a time that even Satan will want to go to church and repent. :D

Speaking as an uninformed Brit here, what type of stuff do people usually play in church?

I assume Morbid Angel is out of the question?

It varies by church. For some an acoustic guitar is as much rock and roll as they can tolerate, others like Marshall stacks.

My church will play a non religious song as the walk in music. i have played Black Sabbath to Muse, Warrant to Journey to Nickelback. As long as the song does not have offensive lyrics or meanings, its cool.

Worship music is by artists like Chris Tomlin, Steve Fee, Joel Houston, Hillsong united, etc.

First generation CCV? You mean first procuction CCV. ;)
